- Most of air
freight companies have to fill an Air Waybill
(AWB)
forms in 12
copies issued by the carrier,
known as master air waybill (MAWB)
to
consolidate the consignments of
several shippers that are intended for the
same airport of destination.
They also have
to fax it to their agent so that he can
prepare the taking out of goods.
AWBILL software aims to
automate these operations. The shipper will
be able to write a Master AWB in few minutes,
to print it on dot printer or on a color
Laser Printer and to send it using EMail to
his correspondent who will be able, in his
turn, to print it and if necessary to modify
it. User can also define the color of pages
and send them with PDF file. Ahead of the
United Nations and IATA
draft, the software also supports the new
standards publishing, which provides for the
gradual replacement of paper by using a
computer document (EDI).
